Kalpita KrishiAI · AI Smart Farming Product
Expert crop guidance for every farmer — on the device, in their language, with or without a signal.
KrishiAI is an offline-first AI farming app that detects crop disease on the device at 95%+ accuracy and advises farmers in 10 Indian languages. Built AI-first by a Kalpita team — 70%+ AI-enabled engineering, part of a growing portfolio of AI products and solutions.
Watch a photo become a diagnosis, a treatment plan and a spoken recommendation in seconds — offline.
The problem
Crop disease costs Indian farmers 15–40% of a harvest, and the damage compounds while a farmer waits for an expert who may never come.
Most farming apps make it worse: they need a signal, they speak only English, and they do one thing. KrishiAI was built to remove every one of those barriers.
What it does
Point the camera at an affected plant and KrishiAI identifies the disease in real time, then explains the treatment — organic or chemical, with dosage and prevention — in the farmer's own language, out loud.
Around that core sits everything a grower needs for the season: hyperlocal weather, irrigation scheduling, mandi prices and farm finance — one app instead of six.

Capabilities
A full season's decisions in one app — and the core of it works in airplane mode.
A MobileNetV2 ONNX model classifies 40+ disease classes from a single photo, with confidence scoring, fully offline.
38 diseases across 12 crops, with organic and chemical options, dosage, severity and preventive measures.
Ask and listen in 10 Indian languages — no typing, no English required, no literacy barrier.
Localised forecasts for sowing, irrigation, harvest and crop protection windows.
Scheduling that cuts water waste while supporting yield, tuned to the crop and the forecast.
Nearby mandi prices, so a farmer sells at the right time rather than the first time.
Income, expenses, loans and subsidies tracked together for true profit visibility.
Surfaces the subsidies and benefits farmers routinely miss, matched to their profile.
Six steps, none of which require a connection.
Snap a photo of the affected crop — or choose one from the gallery.
KrishiAI runs the model on the device and identifies the disease with a confidence score.
It returns treatment — organic and chemical options, dosage, severity, prevention — in the farmer's language.
Follow-up questions are asked by voice, and the answers are spoken back.
Hyperlocal weather, irrigation timing, mandi prices and farm finances sit in the same app.
History and advisories save locally; data syncs to Azure SQL when a connection returns.
Against the single-purpose, English-only, connection-dependent apps most smallholders encounter.

Who it's for

KrishiAI is built on .NET MAUI with a layered MVVM architecture, interface-based services and dependency injection. Disease detection uses a MobileNetV2 ONNX model via ONNX Runtime with SkiaSharp preprocessing; SQLite stores everything on the device; Azure SQL, Azure Speech Services and Azure OpenAI add cloud intelligence when a connection exists. New crops, languages and advisories slot into the same service-oriented design.
Proof, not promises
95%+Accuracy
On-device detection
Every result carries a confidence score, so a farmer knows how much to trust the diagnosis before acting on it.
Works in Airplane Mode
No network required
Core detection, treatment and advisory run entirely on the phone; cloud sync activates only when a connection returns.
10Indian Languages
Voice-first
Ask and listen in the farmer's own language, at any literacy level — no typing and no English required.
